Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 5, 2026
Our child-privacy commitment: Children can use Bright Bytes Learning’s free activities without creating an account or submitting personal information.
About This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Bright Bytes Learning handles information when visitors use brightbyteslearning.com and its learning activities. Bright Bytes Learning is operated from Tennessee, United States.
Children’s Privacy
Bright Bytes Learning provides educational activities for preschoolers, early learners, and young children with special needs. We design our free games so children do not need to provide a name, email address, account, photograph, voice recording, precise location, or other personal information to play.
We do not knowingly ask children under 13 to submit personal information through the learning activities. Future registrations, purchases, contact forms, or subscriptions will be directed to adults such as parents, guardians, teachers, therapists, and school representatives.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information to Bright Bytes Learning, contact us at info@brightbyteslearning.com. We will investigate and take appropriate steps to delete the information.
Information Used by the Learning Activities
Some activities save preferences—such as text-to-speech settings or whether an instructional message should be shown again—in local browser storage. These preferences remain on the visitor’s device and are not sent to Bright Bytes Learning.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically create standard server logs when a page is requested. These logs may include an Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device information, requested page, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This information is used for security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and reliable website operation.
Bright Bytes Learning does not currently use advertising trackers or an analytics service to profile visitors.
Third-Party Services
We use a service provider needed to operate and display the website:
- Hostinger provides website hosting and may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site.
We do not authorize our provider to use information from our site for targeted advertising to children.
Information Provided by Adults
If an adult contacts us by email, we receive the information included in that message, such as the sender’s email address and any details they choose to provide. We use this information to respond to the request, provide support, maintain appropriate business records, and protect the website.
Before Bright Bytes Learning introduces adult accounts, purchases, email subscriptions, analytics, or additional forms, this policy will be updated to explain the information collected, its purpose, the service providers involved, and available privacy choices.
How Information Is Shared
Bright Bytes Learning does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers that help operate and secure the website, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Bright Bytes Learning, its users, or others.
Data Retention and Security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the website. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of online storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Choices and Requests
Adults may contact us to ask about personal information they have provided, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify the requester’s identity before completing certain requests.
Links to Other Websites
Our pages may link to websites operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Bright Bytes Learning is not responsible for those external websites.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the website and its services change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes affecting children’s information will be addressed before the new practices begin.
